New starter motor

The new starter motor arrived yesterday and has been put in place with the three bolts. The exhaust manifold has signs of blowing so new gaskets are on order as are new m8 copper nuts, more photos to follow as I progress.

As the air filter is off the engine breather on the rocker cover was removed and cleaned of old sludge deposits with petrol and blown dry, a new mirex buckle added the finishing touch



Not enough time

There has been a few set backs recently, so it's looking like a flight to Paris in September. However the restoration continues, the starter motor failed again so that's back off at the moment and another new one is being fitted albeit a different make this time.
