Welcome to the restoration journey of my beloved 1973 Citroën DS23 Pallas. This classic car was manufactured with great care and precision at the Quai de Javel factory in Paris. A true masterpiece, it boasts a 5 speed manual transmission and carburettor engine. With its beautiful beige Tholonet exterior and caramel Jersey Velours rayé interior, this car is a true work of art. Join me as I bring this classic Citroën back to its former glory and share my restoration process with you all.

Hi Colin,
ReplyDeleteVery satisfying having parts plated before fitting :)
You last pic looks like the spacer bracket that sits on the rear bumper.
Cheers

Link to a bad pic but you can see on my car the bracket painted brown

The very same Chris. The brackets were missing on mine as they often are! I found two very rusy ones in a box of old stuff, I didn't know whether they should be painted or what, so just having set up my zinc plating kit I decided to sand blast them and try out the new kit. I could have made some new ones but not the same satisfaction.
